My role in ERC and how I see the future
My journey in the insurance field was not entirely by choice but rather a path paved by my family, who identified a gap in the industry for insurance professionals in Malaysia back in the eighties. Despite this, I have no regrets about the career I embraced.

I completed my insurance education and achieved the prestigious title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner from CII UK in 2010. In the same year, I also obtained my Associate qualification from the Malaysian Insurance Institute. Since 2008, I have been an entrepreneur in the insurance industry, taking on the responsibility for all aspects related to our clients and ERC’s future development.
Recognizing the potential of digital technology, I firmly believe it will play a vital role in meeting the ever- changing demands of customers well into the future. Embracing digital solutions can enhance the front- end customer experience, while behind the scenes, a dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure prompt and efficient service to every customer. As a lifelong insurance professional, I am committed to catalyzing positive change and making life simpler for everyone through our services.

My journey began as an insurance broker in 1986. Over the years, I have immersed myself in continuous learning, honing my expertise in understanding the intricate dynamics between insurance buyers and sellers. Since 2018, I have proudly served as a technical advisor to ERC.

Above all, I am driven by a deep passion for assisting our clients in making critical decisions. As their trusted advisor, I strive to be the guiding light in helping them navigate through challenges and determine the risks worth undertaking. I am acutely aware that risk, if not managed appropriately, can lead to unforeseen negative consequences. Hence, I am dedicated to exploring how we can support our clients in managing their fears and overcoming their circumstances with positive outcomes.
